| "You don't know me but today for the first time I listened to Pastor Lawrence Powell on The Word Network. I had never heard him before and what I thought was an accident today was no accident at all. I was rewinding the DVR and went further than I had planned. I stopped on his message. God knew right where He was directing me. |
| The message from Pastor Powell entitled 'You Really Matter to God' was exactly what I needed today. Lately, I have truly been struggling with life. I'm turning 40 in a month and felt that life had passed me by. I'm not married, I have no children because I wanted to wait until I was married, I had a really bad childhood and because of that I live a pretty solitary life, I have a BS and I'm currently working towards a MS but I have a job that a high school education is needed for, I'm in pain from arthritis, and I'm in debt up to my eyeballs (I had 4 surgeries in 5 years that have taken a toll on my finances). I am thankful for all the things that God has given me but lately I have been blinded by what I perceived as a life lacking in everything. Looking back at the past 40 years of loneliness and sadness, I didn't feel like I could face another 40 years of the same thing. I wasn't contemplating ending my life but I didn't see any hope for the future. That's a sad place to be. |
| Pastor Powell's message today was truly for me. I was feeling lost and forgotten. I felt like I don't have anything because I don't matter. As I listened to his message I found myself genuinely smiling for the first time in days. I had to fight back tears (I'm watching online at work). But these tears were different than the ones I have been crying lately. These were tears of joy. I pledged a long time ago to never let anything or anybody take my joy. The enemy almost had me until God played that message for me. |
| Now I feel renewed, empowered, loved and happy. The situation hasn't changed but my outlook has. I may not have any of the things that the world measures success by but I have to remember that I am not of this world. God has something special in store for me. It may not come in a traditional package. I have work to do for Him and the enemy was using his tricks to stop me. I actually feel a little bit foolish right now for doubting even for 1 second the purpose for my life. God has had His hand on me for a very long time guiding and protecting me. He has a plan for me. |
| I sincerely thank Pastor Powell for allowing God to use Him in a mighty way. You changed a life hundreds of miles of away. You may not ever see me but always know that you made a difference in my life and that I love you and what you are doing. I will be watching regularly going forward. |

| Oh my goodness...this devotional was truly God sent!! I love it when God sends a word in due season...it really is just like the scriptures says... "It's like golden apples in a silver pitcher". Wow...I thank God for Pastor & First Lady Powell. They are God's servants and the prophetic voice we need in this day time. Please know that these devotionals are helping people everywhere...especially me!! |

| God Bless you! I am a Christian who suffered for years with anxiety. I kept a secret of molestation. God told me to write a book and that's what I did. God has delivered me and healed me from the anxieties, but yesteday I received copies of my books and am I getting nervous. I am very fearful even though I know God has not given me the spirit of fear! This morning I tuned into your program. You were talking about Nehemiah (Chapter 2) and being prepared to speak to those don't understand the things we do. I just started to cry. God is so good!! Thank you for your ministry and God Bless. I am going to read up more on Nehemiah. Thanks again. |

Good morning!
Can you please pass on a message to Pastor Powell that his message ministered to my soul. I just found out this past week that I no longer had a job. I was laid off after about 7 months. I moved to the state of Illinois for this job and now my position has been eliminated. I am strong in my faith and understand this is a test. God continually sends me multiple Words throughout the day to keep me strengthened. This is is the first Word I received today and once again, God was faithful. I bless God for Pastor Powell, his family and for the Agape family. I'll be praying for you. You pray for me. |
